Filament
- Spools by material, colour and brand, with grams left.
- Matched to the AMS trays your Bambu Lab printers report, including humidity.
- Consumption from the slicer's estimate recorded when a print completes.
- Reorder thresholds per filament and low-stock alerts.
Products
- Stock per SKU with reservations for open orders and target levels.
- Production automation tops up products that fall below their target (Pro and Farm).
- Finished plates add their units once; units can be corrected after a quality check.
Material checks before printing
A plate that needs PETG never starts on a printer loaded with PLA. When a recipe asks for a colour, Farmit checks the colour too. If two loaded spools match, it asks instead of guessing.
Questions
Does it read Bambu RFID spools?
Farmit reads what the AMS reports for each tray: material, colour, remaining filament and humidity. Third-party spools are recorded by hand.
What about printers without an AMS?
Choose the filament stock when you queue a job; Farmit records the consumption against it when the print completes.
